WHAT I'M READING

Let's talk about books, baby! Here's what I'm currently reading and what I've read recently. I'm always open to suggestions, and if you want to discuss any of the books, send me a message over on my Instagram page.

Click here to purchase the books! I DO NOT support Amazon. I don't get any kickback from that link. Instead, if you purchase books on that link through Bookshop, they will donate a percentage of sales to Little Read Books, an amazing organization in Denver that I've worked closely with and adore.

The Selected Works of Audre Lorde

Edited by Roxane Gay
Date Completed: March 3rd, 2022
This collection offers a great sampling of Lorde's critical work. There are essays that will challenge your assumptions and poems that will tug at your sense of humanity, and I guaranteed you will be changed for the better. I highly recommend this selection.

Dune

Frank Herbert
Date Completed: June 14th, 2022

I needed a new world to dive into, and Dune provided just that. This multi-layered story sucked me in (after slogging through the first hundred-or-so pages) and I can't wait to continue reading more of the series.

The Bell Jar

Sylvia Plath
Date Completed: May 2nd, 2022
It is an interesting feeling to relate deeply to a work published 30+ years before I was born. Plath writes with beautiful and haunting descriptions of the modern human experience.
